There was one quarterback in UAB's 2011 signing class and with starter Brian Ellis moving into his Senior year (barring a medical redshirt) the Blazers are moving early to make certain there is a quality signal caller in the 2012 class and they are starting their quest by offering one of the top local quarterbacks.
